CHARLESTON TREE REMOVAL AFTER

Recently, Palmetto Tree Service was contacted by a Charleston, South Carolina business to prune and conduct tree removal on their lot. They also asked what should be done, if anything, with a very large sweet gum tree. They saw a few dead limbs near the top (as you can see in the photo below). One branch had previously broken off and had fallen on a car.

After inspection by certified arborist, Robert Thompson, it was determined that the gum tree needed to be removed. Although not apparent to laymen before the removal, the center of the tree was quite deteriorated. (see below) This tree was ripe for a wind to blow it over and cause a significant amount of damage to buildings and customers vehicles.
